NameFace
Description
It happens to all of us. You see someone across the room. You know the person. Try as you might, you can't think of his or her name. You'd love to go over and chat, but what can you do?
NameFace can help.
Simply enter a few individual characteristics (as few as three and up to twelve) that you know about the person. NameFace will then present you with a list of potential matches. Select the correct one and now you know the name.
Instructions
Step One, Prepare the NameFace Contact database
Contact Detail: Displays each Contact from the NameFace Contact database
Each Contact includes the name and the individual characteristics selected from the drop down menus; a photo can be uploaded, if desired.
Important: All Contact names in NameFace must be entered first into the main Contacts app and then the name and some selected information is automatically exported to the NameFace database. Note: The information in the NameFace database does not alter the information in the main Contacts app database.

Step Two, Use the NameFace Contact database
Search Contacts: Creates the search criteria
The search is refined by selecting more individual characteristics from the list.
Choose an individual characteristic from at least three sections: gender, age and height.
You should then only choose additional individual characteristics that are accurate.
The search button goes to the Search Results page.
Search Results: Lists the contacts that satisfy the search
When you select one of the contacts on the list, the Contact Detail page is presented.
Background
Name retrieval is one of the most challenging memory tasks we face. Whereas words are connected to one another through a network of meanings, names are unique and arbitrary. Names must be memorized by working hard to establish the name-face connection. It takes a little bit of advanced planning to use NameFace, as the individual characteristics must be entered for each contact on your list. However, the task of entering the data also helps you rehearse these associations. And, if you still cannot recall the name, then NameFace will be there to assist you.
